#Day 10–Water as a Connector

Today was one of those days where everything felt… a little heavy. Maybe it’s the New Moon. Maybe it’s just life. I felt physically tired and mentally scattered—like my thoughts were swirling without rest. I tried to ground myself with a new moon meditation, whispering affirmations to align with the energy of new beginnings. But the connection didn’t quite click. Not at first. So I did something simple: I took a salt bath. I asked the water to help me—to cleanse not just my body, but also my mind and spirit. I whispered to it: Please, clear my thoughts. Wash away what doesn’t belong to me.
As the water moved over my skin, something inside me started to shift. The noise began to fade. I could feel space returning in my mind. Later, I decided to step outside and walk under the night sky. The new moon above was invisible but present —like a quiet reminder that endings are always beginnings in disguise.
I took my 365 Days with Water journal with me and opened to Day 10.
“Water as a connector.” That line landed deep. “Water flows freely and connects everything it touches.” Yes. That’s what I felt in the bath.
That’s what I was feeling now—walking in the quiet, the cool air touching my face. Water isn’t just a substance. It’s a thread. A bridge. A connector of things seen and unseen.
As I walked, I began to notice how everything was connected—the trees, the wind, the moisture in the air the earth under my feet. Me. I don’t always need big answers Sometimes I just need to feel the thread. And tonight, that thread was water.
How does water connect you—to your body, your emotions, to others, or the natural world?
See you tomorrow
under the stars and in stillness.
